About Me: Abigail Jeannine
If you found this page, I have a feeling I know a little bit about you.
You’re somewhere in your mid 20’s to early 30’s. You have a life that looks pretty good from the outside. Maybe its a relationship, a marriage, or a job that pays the bills. You’re not in crisis, but you’re not quite where you want to be either.
There’s this feeling you carry around that you can’t fully name. A low hum of something isn’t right that follows you through your days even when everything is technically fine. You’ve achieved things you worked hard for and still felt empty on the other side of them. You’ve started healthy habits and fallen off. You’ve told yourself you’d get back into your Bible and somehow never quite made it there.
You want to grow. You want to be intentional. You want to feel close to God again, and I’m not talking about performative Christianity, you want to actually feel it. You want to walk into the next season of your life – marriage, family, whatever comes next – as the most whole rooted version of yourself.
You just haven’t found a space that speaks to exactly where you are.
Until now. At least that’s what I’m hoping.

Hey, I’m Abigail
I’m a Christian woman in my late 20’s and I am in the thick of the same season you’re in. Not on the other side of it. Not looking back at it from a place of having figured it all out. I’m right smack in the middle of it, doing the work, documenting the journey, and being honest about what that actually looks like.
This is my story. The real version.
Where I came from
I grew up in a Missionary Baptist family. Most of my young life consisted of Church every Sunday. When I was around 13 or 14, I got saved. That was real, and I’m not going to sit here and tell you it wasn’t.
But somewhere between being that girl in the pew on Sunday morning and becoming an adult, faith became background noise. I still believed in Jesus. I knew the Gospels on a surface level. But I wasn’t reading my Bible. I wasn’t praying with any intention. I was just living. Doing what I wanted, not thinking too hard about any of it.
If you know what a lukewarm Christian looks like… I was her.
And here’s the thing about lukewarm that nobody tell you: it’s comfortable. You still call yourself a Christian. You still have enough faith to feel okay, but you’re not close enough to God to actually be changed by Him. You’re just existing in the in-between. The distance is so gradual you don’t even notice it happening until one day you realize that it’s been a really long time since you’ve felt Go’s voice in your heart. A really long time since that feeling was familiar.
That realization didn’t come all at once for me. It crept up slowly, but when it landed, it landed hard.
